Personal Information Privacy

The Jean Tweed Centre (JTC) is committed to protecting the privacy of individual personal information, and recognizes its responsibility to ensure the accuracy and security of this information.

What is personal information privacy?

Personal information is anything that can identify you as an individual, such as your name, your date of birth, health history, record of your visits to JTC or information that is specific to you, such as test results with your name on them. Keeping personal information private means you have the right to know how and where personal information is being used within JTC . It also means JTC has an obligation to ensure that the information is kept confidential. JTC is taking active steps to ensure that we follow best practices in respecting staff and client personal information privacy rights.

To ensure we comply with information privacy principles, The Jean Tweed Centre has appointed a Chief Privacy Officer to oversee the activities involved with establishing comprehensive privacy management policies and procedures.
