Pathways to Healthy Families

  • For women on the road to recovery, effective parenting is a key priority in making positive lifestyle changes
  • Pathways to Healthy Families strives to reduce harm to pregnant and parenting women who use substances, and to their children
  • This program reaches out to pregnant and parenting women and offers individual assistance with life-management issues, including information sessions on substance use and parenting
  • JTC works with other social-service agencies to expand their knowledge and experience in dealing with substance use issues involving pregnant and parenting women

MK2 - Mothers and Kids Too

The Centre has created a specialized program that addresses the needs of mothers who are pregnant and/or who have children under 6. Called MK2, this program is a 7 week long - 3 day a week format that provides both substance abuse counselling and parenting support. Admission is through the Pathways program
