How To Access The Jean Tweed Centre


For women living in Toronto or surrounding areas (within commuting distance)


Step 1: You must attend an Information Night, held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at 215 Evans Avenue (click here for details).

Step 2: You must complete the seven Ministry Questionnaires. We offer this session once a week on Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. (click here for details).

Step 3: You are invited and encouraged to begin attending Phase I groups, held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 on Tuesdays and from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursdays (click here for details).

Step 4: You complete an individual, one-hour Assessment Interview with a JTC Intake Counsellor, scheduled at a time that’s convenient for you (click here for details).





For women living outside Toronto or surrounding areas (beyond commuting distance)



Contact us directly for self-referral to Jean Tweed Centre; consult your family physician to begin the referral process; visit your local Assessment and Referral Centre listed in the yellow pages; or contact the Drug Abuse Registry of Treatment at 1-800-565-8603; online at www.connexontario.ca to arrange to complete the Ministry Questionnaires and obtain a referral to the Centre
