MK2 Program

In response to the need to tailor something more appropriate for young moms seeking help for their substance abuse and, at the same time, juggling the demands of small children, this 7 week program is offered three days a week for 7 weeks to support their needs as mothers in addition to dealing with the substance abuse.

The flexible schedule allows mothers to attend to other obligations such as doctor's appointments, employment programs, access visits, etc.

Child Development & Childcare Services

• Mothers participating in JTC outpatient and day programs have access to a specially designed childcare space and child-development services
• The childcare centre provides a warm and nurturing environment for children to play and learn, thus enriching their development and helping them to meet their developmental milestones
• Specific services include: onsite parenting workshops, attachment intervention for parenting support, plus home visits that offer safety assessments, teaching and support
